What do you give someone who has everything? Or someone who is just too hard to buy for? Well, a gift voucher usually does the trick. Whether it's for salons, book shops or boutiques you really can't go wrong. Or can you? Myself, I love getting vouchers, but one thing has really started to annoy me. EXPIRY DATES. On vouchers. Seriously. It's like a licence to steal your money. So often I've seen vouchers with a six month expiry date. So what happens then? They get to keep your money? In fairness, some shops will waive the expiry date if you ask but certainy not all. I think this is something that people should be aware of when buying vouchers. Ask about the expiry and refuse to buy if it's short. That will soon change things. Here at Beauty.com, our vouchers NEVER EXPIRE and can be used against ANY service or product in the salon, no exclusions. Have you been caught out with short dated vouchers? Leave a comment if so. |
